As an example of what flyerCO said, I have an upcoming trip all booked with VS codes on 932 stock where the flights are operated by VS/KL/DL/DL.
VS site: both the VS and DL PNRs work and show all 4 flights and seat assignments
KL site: only the VS PNR works, but it only shows the VS/KL flights, and only the seat assignment on the KL flight is shown
DL site: both PNRs work, but it only shows the KL/DL/DL flights, and only seat assignments on the DL flights are shown
The VS PNR works on the DL site but displays the DL PNR only on the resulting screen (in fact this is how I got the DL PNR to begin with). Likewise the DL PNR works to pull it up on the VS site but the resulting display only shows the VS PNR.
