I've been guilty of using them on occasion. I found a few TATL J's in the $2,200CAD range that i could not replicate with the carrier. Took a chance both times (yes, I'll whore myself for a $2k savings) with Expedia. Both times had to spend hours fixing schduel changes and didn't get the optimal output. Going forward, I'll reach out to somepne like nufnuf77 to see if he can book it, but truth be told, I'd probably do it again. Again as we say in Quebec: Un gars averti...

I was inferring this in refernce to the early days of PY when planes were swapped out with metal that did not yet have the PY cabin, a lot of people were clamouring to be upgraded to J. PY --> Y is SOP and my argument for was in the wording. It made a lot of noise here back in the day.
