Just noticed on MMB that I am now required to fill in some advance passager information for this trip.
I thought this was just for the US?
Also any reason why this has just become a requirement for this trip. When I booked and when I've checked MMB since this date there has been nothing showing until today?
The API screen usually shows up I believe 3 days before departure - its basically to help "speed up" the process of capturing the required passenger information before arriving at the airport or for OLCI etc as per US regulations... Also, if you registered an e-mail address with BAEC, then you'd have gotten an e-mail asking you to fill this out.
From what I have been told, BA will be doing this on all their international flights that have any US connection point and they are planning to roll it out to all flights (excluding intra-Europe).....
Perhaps this is one of those "marked"/targetted flights that BA have agreed to roll it out to.
