Our vote is for Conrad. We are in london 2 or 3 times a year and Great location for tube and bus lines. Short walk to Buckingham palace parliament/big ben Westminster and churchill war rooms. We've been staying there. There are junior suites and family rooms that accomodate 3. They are not large but will work. Breakfast is very nice with a good selection. Staff is very helpful and can assist with planning your day. Agree that you should map out your sites and plan your days in advance. I'd also suggest there are some wonderful small museums in London ..sir John Soanes Apsley House Leighton House Denis Severs Snowden come to mind but many more and they are good to mix and match with the big ones which can be very large and tiring. The small museums allow you to see neighborhoods and housing of real people and give a different perspective. The gardens and parks are also beautiful and Conrad is across the street from St James's park. I wouldn't rule out a night or matinee of theater. It's London at its best!
