Agree 💯 and also the consultants, such as Boz Allen which 98% of its $11 billion in revenue is the US Government. The WSJ reported earlier today that Accenture, IBM, and Deloitte are offering to cut billions from contracts, but the administration wants even further cuts. There is no getting around that this is having an effect also on domestic bookings, as it’s a ripple effect. Starting to feel March 2020 again.
I worked at one of those firms during the financial crisis and it was ugly. My contacts still there tell me it is even uglier now and will get worse very soon. It's really going to get interesting. The younger end of the workforce that has only known good times economically in adulthood, and has been enjoying a tight labor market the last few years and the flexible work benefits that go along with it...including ability to travel and work from wherever, they don't know what's coming.
