I’ve a bunch on OnBusiness miles expiring. I’m pretty sure I can however book for after the expiration, as long as I book before the expiry date. Do correct me if I’m wrong?

Anyway my actual question is on the flexibility of the ticket. If I book using the OB miles can I use Avios or cash to upgrade the class?
