Background I am from UK, Married and 1 dependant both wife and child are Indonesian.
I am 54 years of age and my convictions are
1. about 1987? aged around 17 ish.....assault (not fightinging but trying to break up a fight/ i grabbed someone and they complained as i bruised persons arm/Elbow) i was fined about £30?
2. about 1991? aged about 20, affray, I was with 2 old friends walking on public right of way when one of them had a confrontaction with a game keeper/ similar my dog became agitated and i swore at the game keeper/ other AND one guy i was with, Game keeper made a complaint and we all got community service / community payback
3. early 2000s? i was visiting my son who lives with his mother and grandmother, my sons aunts ex was uninvited and being verbal and aggressive, i asked my sons mother to call the local Police and i pushed/ grabbed his harm and made him leave the private property, as it was not my home and he made a complaint i was given 60? hours community service, the last 20+ years i have been hard working and not tried to be as helpful / stupid as i previously was.
I have accepted a position in QLd Australia and if successful will convert to 482 visa with my wife and daughter joining me, I am so stressed about missing this opportunity not just for me but my wife and especially my daughter (school, enviroment, health system etc)
Thanks
Will these offences even be listed on the ACRO certificate? Most of these minor offences with no custodial sentence are eventually purged – "stepped down" in ACRO parlance. It's likely after 10-20 years they will not even be listed on the certificate.
