I always tend to go for the T4 PI as I find it’s generally a bit cheaper than T5.
It’s also very well located in that you can get direct access to the terminals AND you can avoid paying the TfL Heathrow surcharge by going to/from Hatton Cross (I don’t mind the walk, especially if landings are on 27L!)
Incidentally you can also avoid the surcharge by taking the Piccadilly line from any of the Heathrow terminals to Hatton Cross. That journey is free, so you can then touch out and back in and thereby reduce the fare to the appropriate peak/off-peak Z1-5 fare (rather than an all-day peak Z1-6 fare).
