That has been the case for my guest when we were in the First lounge at LGW. She went out to buy a few items from the shops and came back a while later without challenge or boarding pass scan - she was remembered by the lounge reception team. I guess it depends how busy access to the lounge is at the time in terms of the team remembering faces.
