Asiana lounges at ICN are just pathetic and Singapore Airlines' ICN lounge is 100 times better, in terms of amenities, decor, and food.
I can understand why they don't open throughout the day because everyone will come over.

However with Asiana becoming Korean Air and leaving Star Alliance soon, Singapore Airlines lounge hopefully can open longer hours and will possibly need to keep those Star Alliance carriers happy. Down the road, Star Alliance hopefully can build a larger lounge using some of those former spaces occupied by Asiana, especially Korean Air operates from Terminal Two. There will be plenty of lounge space, after the merger.
