So I think BA have missed a trick with this one (at least I can't see them doing this on the website at the moment).

I think it would have been a great opportunity for them to have a something on the "Extras" page of a booking to tick to say "Book my flight with Sustainable Aviation Fuel" which would then add an appropriate amount to the booking.

The benefits of this are:
  1. It's easier for business travellers to add on their booking and it's just a cost of the flight which they can expense.
  2. It's easier for businesses to say their travel is sustainable if they can book all flights adding SAF
  3. It's more likely an individual would add the £25 or £50 or whatever for SAF for their flight to make themselves feel more sustainable
  4. It's part of the purchase people are already making so much easier to justify in the context of the expense of a flight or holiday
  5. It's not buried away somewhere else in the website
If BA choose to use this approach I'd be more than happy to accept Gold Guest List for Life as payment
