So basically one needs to go to domestic arrivals and hope timing fits?
When I first checked it appeared as if there were buses one hour after international arrivals but they are no longer mentioned.
There seems to be a shuttle bus to Komatsu eki so train would be an option. As we have such a tight schedule I think we won't go that route, it wastes too much time. I do wonder however, is Taxi a realistic option, or would that be very expensive?
Shuttles to Komatsu Station are the same buses that go to Kanazawa. How about a taxi to Komatsu Station (10 minutes, ¥2,300) and Shinkansen to Kanazawa? There are two trains per hour (though not very well spaced) and it takes 12-14 minutes to Kanazawa. A taxi from Komatsu Airport to Kanazawa costs about ¥14,000 and takes 40 minutes.

P.S. Komatsu Airport arrivals area. Hopefully there are taxis around to catch.
