What a dedication! Yes it sounds like a lot of flying. TPE-KMQ seems to arrive at 10:25. Buses from KMQ to Kanazawa leave ~60 minutes after international arrivals but there is also a 10:50 departure if you happen to get through passport control quickly. It takes about 45 minutes to Kanazawa Station. We might arrange a pre-meet-and-greet meeting in the afternoon to suit mini-intuition.
The plan for the 18th is flexible. Since it will be a fairly small group this year we might have a group meal at lunchtime in or near Ōmichō Market.
I’m assuming you will be on KE776 KMQ-ICN leaving at 10:50 on 19th. If you are setting off from Kanazawa the bus to connect to this flight leaves Kanazawa Station at 8:50.

Yes, we would like to meet-up in the afternoon of 17th! We have no other plan than to drop bags at hotel (more or less ekimae) and are good to go for lunch and the rest of the day.

It looks like the bus from airport to Kanazawa operates based on domestic arrivals:
Limousine bus will depart 15 minutes after the arrival of flights.
From Seoul, Shanghai, Hongkong and Taipei, please take a bus connecting from domestic airlines.
So basically one needs to go to domestic arrivals and hope timing fits?
There seems to be a shuttle bus to Komatsu eki so train would be an option. As we have such a tight schedule I think we won't go that route, it wastes too much time. I do wonder however, is Taxi a realistic option, or would that be very expensive?
