Has anyone ever seen where the award calendar doesn't reflect the actual available awards?

I searched for SFO to AKL, with some variations of other NZ airports like CHC and ZQN for Jan and Feb.

So I can find a couple of outbound Saver awards but when I go to book the return, the calendar shows several 100k awards for Polaris Saver level.

But click on any of the dates and it's all 300k.

I called the Premier desk and the agent saw the same thing, took screen shots to forward to the inventory team.


Tried other searches in the same time period, SFO to ZHR round trip. Well it shows the outbound awards in the calendar and the available inventory shows Polaris Saver.

But when I look for the return, all the days says not available -- forget the exact verbiage but something along those lines. I click the actual dates and there are in fact some Polaris Savers, though it's Polaris to EWR or IAD and then Y for the transcon to SFO.

The website was sluggish as hell. I tried searching on the United app on my iPad Pro, has plenty of horsepower and it failed to load any flights, not even outbound.

So maybe more of an issue with the website today, though I think I did see some Polaris Saver awards to Australia in the fall and winter, both outbound and return.

I guess there's plenty of inventory to SYD and BNE compared to AKL or CHC especially when it comes to Saver awards in Polaris.
