I also note one of the old office buildings nearby is now an AC Hotel if Bonvoy is your thing. The Ala Moana hotel is on the outskirts of Waikiki proper and not a bad option (and I know several airlines who use it as a crew hotel).
We recently stayed at the Aston Executive Center for a medical appointment. The mixed use of wholly owned and rental suites made for a nice stay. Having a kitchen and a washer/dryer in the unit was a plus. It was much easier access to/from HNL than staying at the Ala Moana. We were easily able to walk to restaurants in the area.
