The CX call centre which diverts to HKG has been of no help. They keep telling me to fax the ticket over - which is great when I'm at home without a fax. I doubt there are many restrictions on my parent's ticket anyway.

Hi,
as far as i know L class is valid for upgrading and date change is possible for a year. (CX Call centre should be able to give you at least this information) regarding cost i don't know but i think it's not really cheap...
