I'm not sure it would be a guarantee. I think I booked one of the lower-category cliff-tower rooms (as in not the base room), to avoid the garden view. I did not stay very long, making the suite upgrade more likely, and indeed I was lucky enough to be given the terrace suite.

There is a huge, huge main building which is set into the cliff and over several levels. I think all the rooms in this block are overlooking the ocean, or the oceanfront part of the resort, like the pool. There are also villas, which are in the garden area and then further, completely separate buildings which are where the base "garden view" rooms are situated.
