I have booked two award tickets in business class through AA for a trip from Vancouver to Manila in Jan 2026. However, the itinerary included two stops and a transfer between airports in Tokyo.
Vancouver to Seattle : Alaska Airlines
Seattle to Tokyo : Japan airlines

Traveling with an Infant: We will be traveling with our newborn, who will be about 6-7 months old at the time of the trip. The baby hasn't been born yet, but I've heard that adding an infant to a Japan Airlines ticket can be very challenging as they charge 10% of the full fare.
if anyone has experience booking infant tickets with Japan Airlines (award ticket), could you share your insights?
