yeah it's really amazing how much of a step backwards they've taken. before the pandemic you paid your $40/month or whatever it was. it was painfully slow but it was consistent and it was enough. Like, there's certain types of work I need to do that require more bandwidth but since the product was consistent I could figure out what work I could get done on the plane and what I couldn't, and basically plan it out. That consistency is worth a lot.
