The Westin San Francisco Airport is a "Westin" just like my Ford Focus is a Lamborghini because I bought a sticker of a bull and slapped it on the front of my car.

The property looks like it hasn't been touched by the owners in at least 10 years. Pillows were limp, towels were threadbare, the office chair was stained with God knows what, and the carpeting was glossed with a coating of filth.

Like others have noted in recent online reviews, the property is actively trying to avoid giving elites any benefits, such as breakfast. Upon check-in, I had to plead for a $10 F&B voucher that cannot be used anywhere but their very sub-par restaurant. I did not ask for an upgrade, nor was one offered. There is no lounge on site.

The staff? Mostly bored, and apathetic. No real effort put in to welcome you, as I suspect they realize most guests are there for 1 evening.

This tired Westin should be skipped if you are needing a stay near SFO.
