Have you checked via portal. Depends how the airline works the fares. If the stopover provision is embedded into the fare rules on a published fare that is available through GDS, Chase Travel should theoretically have access. Whether it shows up is a different story.

and while it was correctly noted that you can use points to reimburse airfare charged to the card at 1 cent/point, note that this usually is not the best use of points. Typically, you can get better value if booking via the portal - with a CSP, you’d get a value of 1.25 cents/points via booking on the portal, and can definitely get better value if you found award availability through an air partner and transfer there. That said, you’d have to figure out if the savings you could get from booking direct with a stopover fare not available through chase outweigh the lost value of redeeming the points at 1 vs. 1.25 cents (or more via points transfer), and how important that is to you. Many here are adamant about getting a best monetary value/point, even if it’s not the best value when considering other non-monetary considerations. That is going to be a very personal decision. There’s been plenty of times where, for example, I’ve felt it’s a better use to redeem points at 1.5 cents on the portal (as a CSR cardholder) to reduce the cash paid on an expensive ticket, which I didn’t want to pay the full asking price, vs. saving those points for later transfer at a potentially better monetary value. Again, that’s going to be a fairly personal decision.
