I was kind of like, huh?

The GM came to the pool, and was super cool. Moved me into a suite, and waived the extra charge. Then kept in contact throughout my stay.

Breakfast there is good. A lot of the staff must turn over as some did nor did not know what was or was not included, e.g., a fresh coconut.

The location is right at Asok Station, and a huge mall (sorry, trying to remember the name) is around the corner.

The gym is an after thought. Rooms are in two buildings so the pool is at the top of one, the gym at the top of the other.
Can I ask what hotel you are talking about? The Marriotts " right at Asok Station" are the Westin and the SGS - but only the Westin has a rooftop pool. But it is not in 2 buildings.
