1.The Stardust in Las Vegas offers a steak & lobster meal for less than $10 after coupon (found in virtually any tourist magazine). Oversized portions of bread, soup/salad, baked potato and vegetables/fries included. Quality ranges from good to very good.

2.Fitzgerald’s Reno had a lobster tail & filet mignon special for about $20 the last time I was there. Standard portions of bread, salad, baked potatoe & vegetables included. Decent formal setting. Quality was between very good and excellent.

3.You can order as many half-pound dishes of Slipper tails for $5 at Eldorado’s buffet in Reno as you want in Reno, but you have you to purchase one dinner buffet. Surprisingly, the quality (of both the lobster and the buffet!) is very good. Dinner’s about $12 on weeknights, and discount coupons are abundant.
