Unless they remodel and retrain staff this place will struggle with what Marriott elites expect from a Luxury Collection. Stayed here many of times and it's nowhere close to any Luxury Collection Marriott. I would recommend the Ritz or St. Regis down the street.
They should have made it an Autograph Collection, where it would have exceeded expectations. The problem is that the rates are much closer in line with the RC/STR level - probably closest to the W in Yorkville - and perhaps, they thought they couldn't sustain those as an Autograph Collection.
