From price point, even if not originating at either CDG or AMS, it looks more like they are trying to eliminate the KLM brand - as prices for this so called "budget" brand does not reflect and nearly always seems more expensive compared to AF operated flights when there's this option.

Thought about that when using the word "budget", but couldn't remember the correct term!
I had it the other day, but can't remember the word ... it's not "downmarket", "second tier", etc, can't quite remember. However, the "budget carrier" does convey the segment, if not the price.
Maybe LCC is a better description, but where the "Cost" is not that of the ticket, but the cost to the airline of things like catering...
