Am planning a JFK - LHR business class trip in June. Want to avoid the excessive fees with flying out of LHR. Decided to travel to Dublin and fly back to US from there.
Was surprised to see award travel did not include Aer Lingus - aren't they a partner?

In any event, flying back from Dublin to PHL is 245K miles for business class, which seems steep to me. I can recall when first class to LHR was less than that.

Could not find award travel from SNN to EWR, JFK, LGA, or PHL either.

Might have to rethink this and depart from the Continent instead.

Ideas?
