I'd argue Ritz-Carlton caters to a different market than Park Hyatt. RC's are incredibly inconsistent, with some being barely better than a bog-standard Marriott, and some being stellar. Most are generic luxury factories with high room counts. Meanwhile, Park Hyatts are mostly boutique in comparison, and typically reflect their locales.
A Grand Hyatt or a Cat 6 Hyatt Regency would make more sense, but a Park Hyatt would be better suited for the locations I mentioned before.
There are plenty of generic looking Park Hyatts across the world. Very few actually give you a sense of the “locales”. Not saying it’s bad but I think it’s a bit of a stretch to say RC and PH are catering to different markets.
