One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. A quick google search will show plenty of gushing reviews, but even those don't quite capture how spectacular of a hotel it is. If I didn't already spend a month in Italy this summer I'd already be planning trip back there.

There are some companies right in front of the hotel on the lake that offer rides in classic speedboats around the lake. It might be slightly chillier than in the summer months but I would 100% not miss the chance to do it. My partner and I felt like James Bond cruising around the lake, stopping for dip at some of the most gorgeous places I've ever seen.

I know you're already booked, but if anyone reading this can manage to find availability during Ferragosto in the summer, that should 100% be your play. We stayed there for 3 nights and on the day of celebration the hotel did a magnificent fireworks show on the lake right cross from us. Imagine cruising around Lake Como, visiting Villa Balbionelli, getting gelato that afternoon, then holding your loved one that evening as you watch fireworks light up the sky and her eyes.

Like I said, reviews truly don't do this place enough justice.
