Blumie is right. I am aware that aircraft get switched for legitimate reasons all the time and no passenger has a right to a specific type of aircraft on any flight. I was simply wondering if, given the fact that the Suites product is more desirable, is AA purposely being "overly optimistic" in showing the reconfigurations for competitive reasons. I don't know if there is any pattern to this -- thus the purpose of my post. If it is happening regularly, there might be something more at play than the typical operational issues that sometimes cause aircraft substitutions.
