It definitely was well worth it not to wait in the lines at CLT, and I'll gladly eat the cost if I must, but I'm just wondering if I have any sort of claim, and if so, what's the best way to try to seek reimbursement. Thanks for any info.
How did you pay for your ticket? Some credit cards offer trip-delay insurance which might reimburse your hotel expense even if AA doesn't. You should first request from AA an explanation for the delay. Submit your request here:
