Let me rephrase what I said. You don't need to bring your United Club credit card AT ALL to enter the United Clubs for yourself or yourself + guest (could be your authorized, non-card holder guest, or literally anybody) as long as everyone in the party is flying United or Star Alliance. The reason is your club membership is tied to YOUR United membership account, not anyone else.
So you don't need the credit card to enter, just a boarding pass from United or Star Alliance. Same goes with your authorized user (who doesn't have a club membership at all) or any guest you're bringing in, just a boarding pass from United or Star Alliance.
