Getting to the slopes is very easy. It's about a 5 minute walk uphill or there is a shuttle service that comes every couple of minutes all day.
Alternatively there's a door on the second floor of the hotel on the north side that's less than 50 feet walk from the (temporary) Deer Valley lodge / lift area.
