It wont let me upload screenshots because my account is new but basically, I am seeing a flight (not direct but with layover in YVR) that has shows availability for instant upgrade for the flight portion from YVR to KIX but super expensive (7.5k, only PY flex available) and then a different connection with the same flight from YVR to KIX for 2.4k for PY flex but for this one it shows no eupgrade space availability but only waitlisted. Is this normal that the instant upgrade for the same flight is tied to the connecting flights / fare?
