Need quick advice on something. I was affected on the 21st of March with BA and was supposed to fly on BA109 that day. Since that flight got cancelled, I got rebooked next day on BA107. This flight also ended up being cancelled and almost lost me 2 days in traveling. We got on phone with BA thru a Dubai call center and basically got the option to get rebooked on Turkish Airlines and transit thru IST, which is initially what we did. However, we never spoke about the return flight, which reduced my 9 day trip to almost 7 days. I have now arrived in DXB with TK however, this cancellation caused me to spend less time here in Dubai, and this was meant for me to catch up with my Family here in Dubai, and wanted to change the return flight from the 30th of March to the 31st of March, same flight, same timing. Is this possible? My dad has already opened a claim on BA's disruption claim site, and have been speaking to BA on the phone, however they are saying my flight from LHR-IST-DXB had been flown, they can't do anything about the change.

What are your opinions? Should I suck it up and just go with 30th of march?
