Ekelekua might be my favorite brunch / breakfast food in the world
El Verde BBQ is a great, no frills place off the side of the main road. You can eat at picnic tables there or bring it back to the hotel
La Fonda Gourmet is great
Mi Vida Café & Burger is a fun spot with solid burgers if you need to cater to different food preferences
And because I think warnings are just as valuable as recommendations, we strongly did not like La Estación — very tourist centered and you can do much better similar cuisine (see El Verde)
