With minimal luggage , it will be fine.
On my last stay, I did note a shortage of drawer space ( but for 1 night it was ok). Did have a large suitcase which did not help. ( maybe that particular room as i don't recall having the same storage issue on an executive room). I also would not pay £500 per night for the conrad ( if it priced that high)
otherwise good hotel and very good location for westminster/st james's park etc
