Best Fare Requires Change from IAD-DCA--Any Options
We are planning a trip to JNB in Polaris Class. To get to and from EWR the best fares require a change in Washington, DC between IAD and DCA. The non-stop to EWR or transit through IAD or DCA changes the fare by $6,000. If I would book the trip, are there any opportunities to change the internal US flights to something that makes more sense after booking. The trip would be in September. Minimal status as Premier Gold 1 Million Miles. Any thoughts or suggestions?
