Indeed...I have had some fun things happen on SQ, like going from SQ J BKK-SIN, to BA J SIN-LHR-BER (arrival in SIN at lunch and onward BA connection towards midnight, separate PNRs), with luggage interlined to final destination in BER and to top it off, SQ even honoring my higher BA OWE luggage allowance in BKK as I was maxing out on the weight (ie. 96kg on BA vs. 80kg on SQ for the SIN-BKK flight)!
