Thanks for the trip report, and the emphasis on how weak the EI product is for a long intra EU connection like that. I think the FCO-DUB route gets lots of love for the internationally configured planes, anything more than 2 hours seems hard to stomach, especially given that EI longhaul is not all that either.

Quick question on ticket validity for this fare: If I buy a ticket now for end of Nov 2025 FCO-DUB-LAX and return in Feb 2026, after flying the outbound in the end of November, what is the latest I can push a change for the return LAX-DUB-FCO to? Can I move it out to July 2026? I usually book and fly, so want to make sure I get this right.
