But in reality, as bad as it is, there is no certainties right now as long as the labor dispute is unresolved. Cancellation might happen before the flight or "during" the flight as crew can not exceed time limits and depending on the activity of dispute, backup crew might exist or not. But, I think currently the dispute is on low burner so overall, maybe the odds are not that bad. Last week just was bad for LAX.

So, in a sense pilots are getting leverage on new business as well if pax might reconsider using AY, thenagain, after 6 months of no progress, obviously it is not working.
