Yeah, on thursday it was non-functioning satcom and after 2h after STD, the labor action was the cause for cancelling the flight bur of course satcom did not work either. As LAX is very long flight, It is more prone to any actual BAU delay leading to cancellation when crew is not willing/allowed to work overtime due to the labor dispute (which is kind of understandable way of pressuring employer).

But as many AY LHs are now in 11h range, LAX itself is not so long but perhaps due to likely lighter cargo loads, it is preferred to cancel LAX and move scheduled backup crew to some other delayed Asian flight.
