I feel like Apple is trying to get too smart with their iphone software for the United WIFI. Had 4 segments in the past week, and on 3/4 (the last one it wasn't working for anyone), i felt like i was in a loop trying to connect because of all the anti-tracking stuff the iphone tries to do when connecting to wifi these days (private wifi address and limit ip address tracking). I had to connect to the wifi, turn those off, go to the united app, confirm the connection, then go back to settings and turn those off again for anything to work.
Anyone else run into this or am I just doing something wrong? Iphone 15 with IOS 18 running.
Update to this: finally figured out the problem and figured I'd post it here in case anyone else has the same issue.
Go to your app settings, then United, and make sure Local Network is enabled.
Once I did that, works every time.
