Sorry, typo. I meant I haven't heard of any airline that allows a situation like this:
Passenger Mary Smith flew from A to B with Air China, and the check-in agent can get Mary's miles into Huang Xiao Tung's account (an account that they set up to bank miles for sale). The only way I can imagine them doing that would be to make a new account with the name Mary Smith and then pool the miles to Huang Xiao Tung's account and then sell the miles.
It will be weird to set up new FFP account for everyone on a flight and then some will notice it and complained and eventually the airline will know.
Unless there are other ways to bypass the name requirement - as I stated above, we had trouble with BA because the check-in agent messed up with their FFP numbers.
Turkish Airlines is very strict with this - a lot of people have trouble when they set up a new account and moved their CC points there and redeem tickets.
