Did you get Avios but not QPoints, or nothing?
Separately, one of the things you have to think about is marketing carrier versus operating carrier versus posting carrier/program, -- whom do you harass to get what you're entitled to here?
Case in point, -- Last year I flew SFO-DOH on QR metal under an AA flight number. I was crediting to QRPC. I received no credit for the flight. I first tried to address it through the portal provided therefor on the QR website by submitting a request. I included a photo of my QR-issued boarding pass (which also reflected the AA flight number). After a reasonable amount of time the answer came back that since it was an AA marketed flight, they were waiting for confirmation from AA. After a few weeks I inquired again and was told that they had not yet heard from AA. When I got the same answer after a few more weeks had passed, I tried this approach with QR, --
Look. You guys operated the flight, and you already have a photo of my boarding pass. So you're in a much better position than AA to know that I was actually on the flight, you need only check your own internal systems. So why do we need to wait for confirmation from AA? Can't you just confirm that I was on the flight and give me credit? Well, that did the trick. Credit was posted within 72 hours.
