2. I had seen someone loaded $100 in front of me with a different card, and I was able to load $500 to my Bluebird card immediately. So Family Dollar works with multiple reload networks and the limits are independent. Bluebird uses Vanilla reload network IIRC. It is possible that the purchase of an Incomm GC was counted against the limit of Vanilla reload.

Seeing that the "Invalid Merchant" happened so frequently recently, did the Incomm GC sales gained much more popularity at Family Dollar recently? Maybe someone can try to buy a Vanilla GC to test this theory. True or not, the workaround would be loading two $200 separately to improve the chance of a successful load.

Is there more DP's that when a two swipe load failed, the second card did not receive the reversal of the fund? Hopefully someone can find the right dept to speak to about this "Invalid Merchant" issue, also funds not being reversed when the load failed.
#1- I agree with this DP
#2- I agree that other Incomm cards loaded could throw it to Invalid merchant including Vanilla GCs on Vanilla Reload Network. There are other loads that might come into play like loading cell phone pre pay accounts. Sometimes they will say Cash app is loaded prior to me and that could cause it but it I thought it was on another network.

I have been loading single swipe $200s back to back. Same BB or Serve works or sometimes I'll do BB followed by Serve with total load of 2 $200s.

Today I tried loading $500s from Meijer and had 3 straight invalid merchant errors at 3 different FDs with the 3rd load being on a Serve that has not been loaded in a few weeks, so no daily/weekly limits reached. I couldn't figure it out. The store said no loads had been done before me. Still not sure if they know what constitutes a load for purposes of store limit so they could still not be correct on their reporting.
I have a friend who has had difficulty loading the $500s at DG this weekend on locations with new registers installed. The new registers do not have the old keyboards with the card swipe attached above the keyboard. This appears to be newly hard coded to deny the load with a tender not allowed type of error.
Lots of unknowns out there right now and trying to sort out the DPs is frustrating.
Thanks for your suggestions!
