Not sure why you’re arguing about this? There’s quite clearly a significant premium for taking Elizabeth Line services to Heathrow despite it being within zone 6, and that premium doesn’t apply to any other EL services within zone 6. Whether you call that colloquially an LHR tax or whatever, you can’t deny it.

For example:

Bond St to West Drayton: £5.80 / £3.80 off-peak
Bond St to Harold Wood: £5.80 / £3.80 off-peak
Bond St to Heathrow: £13.90 anytime

The Tube premium for LHR is also significant - again despite it being within zone 6 - though not quite as extreme.

The only consolation is it’s still covered in the normal cost of the daily cap/travelcard but most users are travelling one-way so will be subject to the LHR tax.
