If you're a solo traveler who's not going to be in the room much, is it really worth the money just to have a larger room and extra .5 elite nite credit (assuming you're staying increments of 2 nights)? I've stayed at a Four Points Flex in Japan and am aware of its size and offerings. For $100 USD I could feed myself three nice meals a day and still have money leftover for transit and attractions. For $200+, I easily cover an intra-Europe flight.
To the point of another poster, the Marriott Maida Vale seems to be the next cheapest property. But is it really worth the extra $80-100 USD vs. the Flex? (Genuine question...I'm not terribly familiar with the numerous neighborhoods and Bonvoy properties in London.) Thanks.
I don’t like the Marriott Maida Vale - but everyone on the forums knows that. I also would not classify it as being in Central London.
If you don’t need a Marriott, I have had a good stay at Hyatt Place London City East (though, also not in Central London).
My concern here would be getting stuck in a windowless room.
