Yes, I just noticed this. I think it is a relatively new policy and doesn't seem to apply to all months. I have a booking in August for 3 nights (made up of 1 night cash + 2 nights points) and would like to add another night, but I can't without cancelling the points booking, which I don't want to do as the points rate is now higher.
