Had a reservation booked at this property for late May for a prestige suite, 473-603 sq ft,, separate sitting room, etc. at EUR615/night. I just received an e-mail from Marriott that the Westin was closing and they have moved me to the Renaissance Vendome, "which is in proximity and comparable to the hotel you originally booked."

The "comparable" accommodation they booked me into is a prestige king (room) - 269-301 sq ft., no sitting area. But the e-mail made clear that they would honor and charge me my original nightly rate for the suite I am no longer getting.
