I used Bolt, in the 12GBP range. If you have bags and several people, then Bolt/Uber might be better. There are frequent bus options and very convenient, that would be my preference unless we have a ton of bags.
We travel with a rollaboard and personal item and we've worked with the bus for both T3 and T5. Very easy. But, yes, with more luggage this may not be ideal.

Thank you both for the information, I don't believe we will be traveling with a lot of luggage so it sounds like all options will work for us.
